Edelman
Matthew Harrington
Edelman has appointed Matthew Harrington as Executive Vice Chairman. Harrington was Edelman's first Global COO (in the role for 14 years), with previous roles including US CEO and most recently Global President and Chief Operating Officer.
In his new role as Executive Vice Chairman, Harrington will focus on strengthening relationships with Edelman’s largest global clients, serving as senior counsellor to C-suites and boards.

Edelman has appointed Mainardo de Nardis as Global President and Chief Operating Officer. Previous roles include CEO of Aegis Media and OMD Worldwide. de Nardis has sat on Edelman’s board for the last six years, and has served on the boards of companies including Voxnest, Invrsion, AdPredictive and LoopMe.

Brian Buchwald
Edelman has appointed Brian Buchwald as President, Global Transformation and Performance. Buchwald has worked at Edelman for three years, in roles such as Global Chair, AI & Product and Global Head of Product, Trust and Data Technology. He has also held senior roles at companies including Weber Shandwick, TalkWalker and Bomoda.

Gemma Spence
VML has appointed Gemma Spence as CEO of VML Luxembourg and Global Head of Marketplaces. She has served at VML for over four years in the roles of Vice President, Commerce Transformation and Chief Digital Commerce Officer. Other previous roles include Global Commerce Leader at WPP and Chief Commerce Officer at Omnicom.

Marta dos Santos
VML has appointed Mariana Martins Marta dos Santos as Managing Director of VML Health Portugal. Prior to joining VML, dos Santos was Global Brand Lead CVM at Viatris. She also spent almost seven years at AstraZeneca as Global Respiratory Brand Manager and served as Global Respiratory Product Manager at Almirall.

Ryan Taggart
Avalere Health has appointed Ryan Taggart as US Business Unit Lead, forming part of Avalere’s Medical Leadership Team. Prior to joining Avalere, Taggart served as Executive Vice President at BGB Group. He has also held the role of Vice President at Klick and Executive Vice President Business Development at Razorfish Health.

67health has appointed Nancy Gorely as Senior Account Director. Gorely has spent over four years at 67health, where she was previously Account Director. She has also served as Account Executive and Senior Account Executive at CAN advertising and, earlier in her career, held a digital marketing position with Pfizer.

67health has appointed Rina Menzies as Director. Menzies brings expertise in healthcare communications to the role. She most recently served for almost a decade at Burson, where she held the role of Senior Director. Other previous roles include Director at Weber Shandwick and Senior Account Director at Hill & Knowlton.

Emotive has appointed Harriet Denton as Account Manager. Denton previously held the role of Account Manager at Havas Lynx, where she served for more than three years, also holding the roles of Account Executive and Senior Account Executive. She also formerly worked as a Laboratory Intern at Swansea University Medical School.
