Envision Pharma Group has acquired Two Labs, a provider of integrated and customised commercial solutions to the pharma and biotech sectors. The acquisition will allow Envision to extend its reach to new clients in the ‘product pre-launch’ setting, while also opening up new business opportunities and geographies for Two Labs.

Two Labs, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Ohio, US, has offices and operations across both the US and the UK. It helps pharma companies to develop and execute customised launch strategies for products.

“This exciting combination of Envision and Two Labs creates a compelling and unrivalled proposition in launch excellence partnership globally and in the US,” said David Thompson, chief executive officer of Envision.

“We look forward to sharing our joint expertise and leveraging our complementary services across medical affairs and product launch planning to support our clients in their goal of bringing new medicines to market effectively and compliantly, to improve patient outcomes,” he added.

“We are delighted to be joining the Envision family and taking Two Labs to the next logical step in its successful journey to date. With Envision’s global footprint and Two Labs’ market-leading US footprint, we have a unique opportunity to enrich our client partnerships with more connected services across the launch continuum,” said Howard Miller, chief executive officer of Two Labs.
“The cultural fit between our organisations is compelling, and we look forward to a new chapter for Two Labs in partnering with David and the Envision team,” he added.

Lucid Group has expanded its reach in the UK after gaining a new office space in the Tytherington Business Village, located in Macclesfield.

The healthcare communications agency has bolstered its presence after moving into Greenway House to complement its existing team of 20 in Oakfield House, within the same business park.

Most of the office will be taken up by Lucid’s Healthcare 21 team and will also be home to a number of people from its medical editorial team, COMET and Bluedog digital team.
The Healthcare 21 has also recently celebrated its first-year anniversary following its acquisition by Lucid Group in September 2019.

The team specialises in scientific strategy, content creation, editorial excellence and digital design.

Within the 60-strong Healthcare 21 team, 40 are now based in Greenway House in a mix of content generating, account management, publishing and digital roles.

“Macclesfield has a rich heritage as a medical communications hub, so we were always going to stay in the area, we just needed more suitable space for our expanding team,” said Cliff Wyatt, managing director at Healthcare 21.

“Greenway gives us stylish, professional, open plan offices where we can all be together – better for collaborative, creative working – with great parking facilities and transport links,” he added.

“They (Healthcare 21) are one of our longest-standing customers so it’s especially rewarding to be helping them expand into new, more spacious accommodation on Tytherington,” commented Benn Dickinson, leasing manager from Orbit Developments.
