UDG Healthcare sets its sights on expert training with the introduction of Ashfield Excellence Academy

In a bid to promote higher standards in healthcare practices, the Ashfield Excellence Academy is providing the latest enrichment programme as part of Ashfield Engage, a branch of UDG Healthcare.

The Academy plans to deliver a series of tailored training exercises, evaluations and skills workshops, available to those working in the pharma and healthcare sector.

Since 2002, the Academy – formerly known as ‘Ashfield Insight and Performance’ – has progressed from a training agency into a multifaceted institution for those keen to upskill or gain specialist industry insights.
The programme has a three-fold approach to training.

The Academy offers a hybrid model of learning, ranging from conventional teaching methods in a classroom setting, to a more interactive and hands-on approach to healthcare.

It also aims to equip attendees with a range of transferable skills, while offering events that promote excellence in medical assessments and education.

In addition, it provides training consultants – many of whom are PhD graduates – for those wanting to boost their experience.

The Academy is able to adjust the learning experience to the needs of the people involved, such as accommodating those who speak different languages and specifically looking at what would benefit local providers.

Lynn Hopkins, Managing Director at Ashfield Excellence Academy said: “All of our Scientific Training Writers are life sciences graduates, the majority PhD graduates, and all are trained in instructional design. As such, the team [understands] the specific needs and trends that are shaping the sector.”

Page & Page and Partners relocates to London and announces five new partners

Page & Page and Partners’ most recent move to a shared working space in London’s bustling Borough district has combined the needs of a busy creative workplace with a more relaxed out-of- office environment.

A short walk from Westminster tube station across Westminster Bridge, The Ministry offers a co-working space with both open plan desks and private office rooms as the new base for the healthcare agency.

As well as relocating to London, the agency has recently announced new partners as part of a senior management team reshuffle, including Lisa Lishman – Commercial Director, Molly Coxon – Business Director, Clare Bates – Editorial Director, Rachel Harris – Client Services Director and Paul Hayhow – Creative Services Director.

“We’re pleased to be able to recognise the contributions of the senior team by making them partners,” commented Kate Page, Managing Director and Co-founder at Page & Page and Partners. “Each partner is an expert in their field and their appointments as partners is a recognition of the hard work the team puts into all we do.”

The team, which is actively recruiting for several new roles to expand its current team of ten, provides a range of services for its clients including medical education, disease awareness, brand strategy and brand development.
