OVID Health has appointed Davide Scalenghe as Head of Global Strategy & Partnerships. In his new role, Scalenghe will focus on expanding the agency’s international footprint across public affairs, communications, advocacy and patient engagement.

Scalenghe brings more than 25 years’ experience operating at the intersection of communications, public affairs, media, advocacy and international strategy. He will focus on building strategic partnerships, strengthening senior advisory capabilities and developing integrated programmes across policy, advocacy, reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Scalenghe was previously Head of Global Public Health at Edelman. Earlier roles span humanitarian field communications with Médecins Sans Frontières in the Democratic Republic of Congo and international development advisory work across Africa and Asia with the Gates Foundation and UNAIDS.

Langland has appointed Victoria Kent as Managing Partner, Medical Strategy & Education, with responsibility for all medical capabilities across the business. Kent brings more than 15 years of leadership and medical communications experience, joining from Syneos Health Medical Communications Europe. Most recently, she served as Head of its London Agency and UK Medical Communications Lead, overseeing global client delivery and the continued integration of strategy, digital, medical affairs and publications capabilities. In addition, Kent is an active leader within the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (a global non-profit supporting women’s leadership within healthcare) and has supported the European Leadership summit for the past four years.

Envision Pharma Group (Envision) has appointed Darren Coleman as Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer. Coleman reports to Jay Ferro, President, Technology and Chief Product Officer, and will serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. He will be responsible for leading a high-performing, globally integrated team developing technology solutions to support both clients and internal teams. Prior to joining Envision, Coleman held senior leadership positions at Syneos Health and AI One. Zeno has appointed Cendrine Seror as Head of Health, Europe. Building on her success as Managing Director of Zeno France, Seror takes on this broader European remit, while continuing to lead the French office. Her role will focus on accelerating growth, strengthening client partnerships and driving a more connected, insight-led healthcare proposition across markets.

With more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare communications, Seror brings deep expertise across corporate, brand and integrated programmes for pharma, biotech and wellness clients. Her team of health experts works across Europe, handling both regional and global assignments in partnership with colleagues in North America and Asia Pacific.
