BeOne Medicines has appointed Kandeepan Ganeshalingam as Vice-President, Head of Medical Affairs, Europe. Leading the Medical Affairs function, Ganeshalingam will strengthen scientific leadership, evidence generation and engagement with the global oncology community. He will also be part of the European Leadership and Europe Senior Management Teams.

Ganeshalingam has more than 25 years’ experience spanning clinical medicine, oncology drug development and medical affairs. Most recently, Ganeshalingam was responsible for Oncology Medical across Pfizer’s International Markets, including China and Japan.

Before joining Pfizer, he served as Vice President, Head of International Medical Affairs at Seagen. He has also held senior leadership roles at MSD, Roche and CSL Vifor

The Healthcare Communications Association (HCA) has announced that Emma Kenny will be the new interim CEO, following the departure of current CEO Mike Dixon. Dixon, who over the last nine years has been instrumental in the transformation of the HCA, is retiring from the role. Kenny, who has been at the heart of healthcare communications for over 25 years, has volunteered for the HCA for many years, most recently as a member of the board. She knows the organisation well and is ideally placed to ensure seamless continuity while a permanent CEO is identified. In announcing his departure, Dixon thanked all those who had supported him over the years, adding: “I look forward to seeing the organisation continue to go from strength to strength.”

NRG Therapeutics has appointed Claus Sundgreen as Chief Medical Officer. With over 25 years of clinical leadership with experience spanning translational medicine and all phases of clinical development, Sundgreen will lead the company’s clinical development strategy. With particular expertise in ALS, he has a proven track record of advancing innovative therapies for neurodegenerative diseases and orphan diseases. Prior to joining NRG, Sundgreen held senior medical leadership positions across biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in Europe and the United States, providing strategic and operational leadership for innovative therapeutic programmes. His earlier career included Medical Director roles at Schering Plough and Nycomed.

CNX Therapeutics has announced the permanent appointment of Lucy Ralph as Chief People and Transformation Officer. Ralph joined CNX in May 2026 as Interim Chief People Officer. She now moves into the role on a permanent basis, with an expanded remit that adds organisational transformation to her existing People responsibilities. In this broader role, Ralph will continue to lead CNX’s people function while taking on responsibility for organisational transformation. She has extensive HR leadership, transformation and private equity experience. She spent almost 14 years at Evaluate, rising to Chief Human Resources Officer in 2018. After a merger, she went on to hold the dual role of Chief Administration Officer at Norstella from 2022.
