Mogrify has appointed Jonathan Appleby as chief scientific officer. Appleby joins from the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, where he was chief scientific officer. Previously, he was chief scientific officer for cell and gene therapy in GSK’s rare diseases unit, after serving as director and portfolio manager at the GSK Centre of Excellence for External Drug Development.

Steven Shiff

Vedanta Biosciences has appointed Steven Shiff as senior vice president, clinical research. Shiff takes on the role after serving as senior vice president and head of clinical development at Intercept Pharmaceuticals. Previously, he was vice president, clinical development and gastrointestinal therapeutic area head at Allergan, and was a practising physician and professor earlier in his career.
