Annabelle Sandeman
Publicis Health has appointed Annabelle Sandeman as chief growth officer in the UK. Sandeman takes on the role and joins the Publicis Health executive leadership team with over 25 years of industry experience. She has most recently been working with private equity and agencies of various sizes and disciplines on their growth strategies. Prior to this, she held roles of increasing responsibility at Huntsworth Health, now Inizio, culminating in her role as global head of commercial strategy. She also served as co-chair of the Communiqué Awards for three years, and previously held positions at ApotheCom, Jago Pearce, VB Communications and Abbott. In her latest role, Sandeman will be responsible for driving the growth strategy of Publicis’ practice headquartered in London, incorporating the brands Digitas Health, Langland and Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness. She will continue to serve on the board of the Healthcare Communications Association.

Amar Urhekar
Avalere Health has appointed Amar Urhekar as chief executive officer. Urhekar takes on the role after serving as chief operating officer at Avalere. Prior to this, he was group president at Inizio Evoke, global president at Ashfield Health and held a variety of positions over almost two decades at McCann Health, including president of the Americas.

Avalere Health has appointed Roshan Rahnama as executive vice president. Rahnama brings two decades of industry experience to the role. She most recently served as senior vice president, commercial x public health strategy at McCann Health, and was previously vice president at Rabin Martin. Rahnama is also currently an advisory council member at the Harvard Business Review.

Tori Fahrney
BOLDSCIENCE has appointed Tori Fahrney as executive vice president of BOLDADVOCACY. Fahrney has over 25 years of experience in building patient communities. She joins the division from RevHealth, where she most recently served as executive vice president, patient and advocacy strategy, following her role as executive vice president, patient engagement.

Nancy Gorely
67health has appointed Nancy Gorely as account director. Gorely takes on the position after serving in roles of increasing responsibility at 67health. She first joined the agency as senior account executive, before progressing to account manager and most recently senior account manager. She also previously held multiple roles at CAN advertising.

Langland has appointed Grace Loughrey as senior account manager. Loughrey brings notable medical communications experience to the role, which she takes on after serving as senior account manager at Avalere Health. Prior to this, she was account manager at Pollen Health, after joining the agency as account executive.

Langland has appointed Alex Cullen as senior account executive. Cullen will be joining Langland’s public relations and engagement division, and takes on the role after serving as account executive at TMC Strategic Communications. Prior to this, she held the position of medical writer at Klarity, and undertook an internship at Mitacs.

Carys Lloyd
OVID Health has appointed Carys Lloyd as account executive. Lloyd first joined the agency as junior account executive, before being promoted to her latest position. She takes on the role with an educational background in history, having focused her studies on people-centred narratives of healthcare. She was also previously employed as a research assistant at the University of Bristol.

Aiswarya Manoj
Langland has appointed Aiswarya Manoj as project manager. Manoj has a background in branding marketing across a variety of industries, including healthcare. She joins Langland from Free Partners, where she served as account executive and later account manager. Prior to this, she held the position of project manager at The Sauce Group.
