Havas Health has announced that it has launched Havas Life Bangkok, marking a significant boost to the network’s footprint across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The launch is aimed at bringing specialised healthcare communications to Thailand and addressing the evolving needs of Havas’ global clients in this market.

Charles Houdoux, chief executive officer of APAC and Latin America, Havas Health Network, said: “The demand for innovative and integrated healthcare solutions is rapidly increasing, driving the need to optimise content performance across the entire customer journey. Our ability to stay ahead of our clients’ needs requires constant evolution and collaboration.”

Southeast Asia (SEA) remains a key growth region for Havas and it is hoped that expanding into Thailand will enable it to offer a “seamless, cohesive experience across the region, bringing both global insights and local expertise to deliver meaningful, culturally relevant solutions,” explained Jini Mathai, regional business head of SEA, Havas Health Network.

Apichaya Hiranphoonyaphreeda will lead the new offering, which has already taken on clients including Sanofi and GSK, as business director.

Also commenting on the expansion, Aga Giedroyc, Havas Thailand’s chief executive officer, said: “The addition of Havas Life Bangkok to our portfolio strengthens our service offerings, enabling us to cater to the unique needs of healthcare clients in Thailand. This milestone opens new opportunities for us to deliver value-driven strategies and make a meaningful impact on the healthcare landscape.”

The announcement came just three months after Havas announced its acquisition of UK-based digital data agency DMPG, giving its clients access to data capabilities that “deliver and measure unprecedented business impact across their omnichannel marketing activities”.

Havas also recently acquired Hotglue, an independent media agency and creative production company, as part of its strategic growth plans in the Australian market.

Avalere Health has joined Bruntwood SciTech’s Circle Square neighbourhood with the establishment of a new UK headquarters in Manchester’s city centre.

The site, located at No.1 Circle Square, will span almost 6,000 sq ft and will give Avalere access to research capabilities at the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.

The business, which is a long-term Bruntwood customer in Cheshire, will also be connected with healthcare organisations such as Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and will gain access to Bruntwood SciTech’s wider healthcare-focused community at Manchester Science Park and Citylabs campuses.

Featuring four office buildings, Circle Square is currently home to a wide range of global tech companies and start-ups across key sectors, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, the Internet of Things, as well as augmented and virtual reality.

Nick Holmes, vice-president of employee experience, Avalere Health, said: “Our new home at Circle Square is perfectly positioned as we continue to look to grow our talent base in Manchester, the space is wonderful and will be a big asset for our employee value proposition moving forward.”

Avalere had been operating from a temporary office space at Circle Square while its new headquarters were being developed, allowing it to begin recruiting local talent as it established its roots in the city centre.

Also commenting on the move, Josh Whiteley, commercial director for Bruntwood SciTech, which is a joint venture between Bruntwood, Legal & General and Greater Manchester Pension Fund, said: “Circle Square is designed to support ambitious businesses like Avalere, offering them access to a fast-growing tech community and the collaborative environment they need to succeed.

“Being part of our ecosystem means they’ll benefit from proximity to industry leaders and the wealth of talent and expertise within Manchester’s tech, healthcare and digital sectors.”
