Genmab

Matt Kiely

Genmab has appointed Matt Kiely as General Manager for the UK. In his role, Matt will lead the UK business operations, ensuring the success of future product launches and supporting the company’s mission to bring innovative medicines to more patients.
Kiely joins Genmab with more than 20 years of industry experience, with a specialty in oncology and haematology. He has held senior leadership positions at companies including GSK, Takeda and Stemline Therapeutics where he was responsible for establishing and building the company’s commercialisation organisation in Europe.
Brad Bailey, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer said: “Matt’s track record in building high-performing organisations and launching successful cancer therapies makes him the ideal leader to drive our expansion in the UK.”

Worldwide Clinical Trials

Alistair Macdonald

Worldwide Clinical Trials has appointed Alistair Macdonald as its new Chief Executive Officer, following Peter Benton’s retirement. Prior to Worldwide, Macdonald served as Operating Partner at GHO Capital and has previously served as CEO of Syneos Health. He has also held board positions at the Association of Clinical Research Organizations, Medicines Discovery Catapult, and other pharma companies.

Symeres

Gabriella Gentile

Symeres has appointed Gabriella Gentile as Chief Operating Officer. Gentile has over 25 years of experience across the pharma, medical devices and services industries. Before joining Symeres, she served as Global Process Improvement Director at Catalent and has previously held leadership positions at Roche and Aptuit, working across operational and drug discovery functions.

Veranova

Joe Torres-Ocasio

Veranova has appointed Joe Torres-Ocasio as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He began his career at Amgen as a manufacturing leader, and went on to hold senior operational roles at Immucor, Therapeutic Proteins, and Baxter Healthcare. He joins Veranova from Catalent, where he served as Vice President of Global Operations for the biologics division.

Cristina Oliva

Epsilogen has appointed Cristina Oliva as its Chief Medical Officer. Prior to Epsilogen, she served as
CMO at BerGenBio from
2022. She also previously served as Vice President, Oncology and Head of the Oncology Center of Excellence at IQVIA, where she also chaired the company’s Global Oncology Scientific Advisory Board.

Julius Clinical

Bassem Salah

Julius Clinical has appointed Bassem Salah as its new Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Julius Clinical, he served as Chief Executive Officer at TFS Clinical Contract Research Organisation from 2019, after initially joining the company as Chief Medical Officer in 2017. He also held executive leadership positions at Premier Research, PRA International, and Chugai Pharma Europe.

Resolution Therapeutics

Lucy Singah

Resolution Therapeutics has appointed Lucy Singah as Chief Financial Officer. She joins Resolution after serving as CFO as Echopoint Medical. Her career includes corporate and strategic finance operations in both the UK and the US, including various roles at Amazonia Impact Ventures, Axis Spine Technologies and 11 years at GSK where she held various roles.

Daniel Kennedy

Resolution Therapeutics has appointed Daniel Kennedy as Chief Business Officer. He brings over two decades of experience to the role, including leading licensing deals and strategic transactions. He previously served as Vice President, Business Development at Immunocore, led business development efforts at Achillion Pharmaceuticals and held roles at Schering-Plough and GSK.

Patrick Ramiah

Richmond Pharmacology has promoted Patrick Ramiah to Director of Clinical Project Delivery and Operational Excellence. He first joined Richmond Pharmacology in 2023 as Head of Continuous Process and Clinical Research Compliance. Prior to that, he held senior roles at MAG, Chelsea Education Consultancy, Penmark Limited, and Magna Carta College at Oxford.
